Wow! So many people are keeping blogs that I decided I would give it a shot. I have kept journals, scrapbooks and other types of notes to self and others, but this is a first for me. Even my husband, Dale, has already created a blog!
I am on a journey of sorts at this crossroads in my life. As of August, both of my children will be in college. I am very excited for them and for the new place it puts Dale and I, but I know that I am going to miss them both so much. I will introduce each of them to you in the days to come. I am looking for a new job as the job that I have had for the past five years was restructured and my options were only part-time. I think that I have found something ~ and I must say that I am very excited about it ~ but it is not definite as of today.
I am looking to grow deeper, spiritually, as my time is less constrained. An old set of notes that I recently came across said:

"Give God Time". Psalm 37:7 "Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for him to act."
I want to make God a priority now (and yes, he should have been all along, but let's be honest...with a full-time job, a husband, two children, three dogs, etc., etc, God does not always get the top billing he deserves). I want that intimate relationship that he has been offering me for years.

Anyway, I could ramble on at length (that is the purpose of a blog, isn't it?!), but as I contemplate my life, my goals, my crossroads and my Lord, I will begin to unveil the big picture as we go along.
Welcome to my journey!
